This summer your child can make rapid improvements with our High Performance camps. We offer 10 weeks of exciting and competitive summer camps beginning June 8th through August 14th. Choose from our QuickStart Beginner Camps, High Performance Tournament Training Camps or our Elite National Tournament Training Camps.

Daily training includes advanced coaching and instruction for campers to rapidly develop their physical, mental, technical and tactical skills.

Full Day campers enjoy the social benefits of walking to lunch each day, sharing a meal together and taking a nice rest break between morning and afternoon sessions.

Extended care is available from 11:30 a.m until 1:00 p.m. each day.

ampers who wish to have additional match play time outside of camp hours will need to join Payne Park as a junior passholder for an additional fee of $120.66 annually.

Elite National Tournament Training Camp (state, national and ITF ranked players)

This advanced clay court training camp is for national level students who are seeking the ultimate in personal attention and training from an experienced ATP Tour pro. The camp is customized each week for the participating students. The camp introduces students to the disciplined and aggressive professional tour approach to clay court tennis. Many tour match play tips and secrets will be covered to help the self-motivated student advance to higher levels of competitive play.

The camp is intended to allow students to become much more physically, mentally and emotionally tough and polish their games in order to peak for the summer tournament season.

Sessions will include rotations and training for:

• advanced clay court tactics
• the aggressive Spanish style of play
• target serving under pressure
• dictating play
• neutralizing and transitioning from defense to offense
• bringing down an opponent’s level of play
• taking time from your opponent
• proper court positioning
• keeping the court closed
• understanding angles
• when to use less spin to your advantage
• trajectory and placement versus power
• shot combinations and shot selection
• match flow momentum
• applying quick pressure versus delayed pressure
• opponent scouting techniques
• footwork, movement and shoe selection
• positive thinking
• mental toughness
• visualization and relaxed breathing
• between point routines
• goal setting
• nutrition and hydration

Students will gain a deeper understanding of advanced tennis tactics and a professional mental approach that they can use to build their games throughout their careers. (National Training camp players are encouraged to attend any of our other High Performance camps over the summer and receive a discount for multiple weeks.)

 

High Performance Tournament Champions Camp (state, national and ITF ranked players)

Our High Performance Tournament Champions camps are designed for the advanced level competitive tournament player looking to receive personal attention, become a more polished and complete all-round player and train in an exciting and competitive “college-style” environment with other like-minded players.

Players will work on every facet of their games refining their game style, technique, tactics, movement, shot selection, point construction and establishing higher levels of concentration through between point routines. Mental and physical toughness training are incorporated into each day’s sessions. Morning and afternoon sessions are intense workouts separated by an ample rest period to fully recover.

 

QuickStart Camp (ages 5 – 12, Beginners)

The QuickStart format uses modified racquets, balls, courts and scoring to introduce children to tennis and quickly get them rallying and having fun. Campers will have rapid success, learn proper fundamental techniques, play games and develop their athletic skills in an exciting environment. Our nurturing coaches create a fun environment for learning and ensure each child’s success.
